Working With Contour Column Stitches, Radial Fills and Wave Fills

In this session, you will learn how to work with the contour column fill to make flower petals that have dimension and depth. We will also use the radial fill stitch, the wave stitch and the gradient wave stitch. You will make a flower with three different leaves this session.
You will learn:
How to apply different types of outlines and fills to segments of the design
How to work with motif fills
How to use the "slice" tool with artwork images
How to shape the contour column stitch
How to layer a radial stitch
How to shape a wave fill to follow the contour of the artwork shape
How to apply two colors to the wave stitch
How to use "line, smooth, cusp" editing tools
You will make a complete embroidery design in class!!
