In Lesson 1 Video: You will learn how to bring artwork into Design Center, clean up the artwork, edit the design, add fills, change stitch directions, change colors, use the satin and standard fills, and then import the design into Layout and Editing.
Change the size of your design while importing it into Layout and Editing and see how the software will automatically readjust the designs density and underlay stitches. We will add details to the design in L & E and save it as a stitch file.
Lesson two: We will begin our design in Design Center. We will fill up "holes" in the design that are not needed and fill them with stitches. Learn how to apply underlay stitches and why they are needed. Import it into L & E and add motif overlays and hand trace design areas to apply the fill stitch to. Plus more!
Lesson 3 Video: We will build a fish aquarium with two fish, sand and sea grasses! You will use one piece of artwork to make two different fish in two different sizes. Learn how to use a draw your on programmable fill that looks like fish scales. See how to turn the outline feature off in certain areas of the design where you do not want them to stitch. In L & E we will hand draw sand, seaweed and sea grass......then add stitch filled fish bubbles!
Lesson 4 Video : Work with text! Create text for your embroideries. We will make shadowed text, text on a circle/arc, text on a hand drawn line shape (fit text to path) and make our own monograms! Practice many of the text features that are available in the software.
