In this lesson you will take a basic outline custom shape of a birdhouse, slice it into pieces using the slice tool to make a roof, floor and boards in the walls. Then use the embossing tool to create wood grain and knot holes in the boards! We will add a pole for the bird house the sit on and the make ground with flowers at the base of the pole. We will even put a vine of flowers growing up the pole!
To finish the design we will add a already digitized bird design, resize it and recolor it as well as remove unneeded elements attached to the bird design. And finally, add a background image that will need stitches removed to prevent overlapped stitches! PHEW! Lots of techniques in this workbook!!
