HOW TO USE "PHOTO STITCH"!!

In this lesson we will cover all the Photo Stitch Wizards #1 and #2!  Learn how to take a photo and turn it into a embroidery suitable for framing.  We will also use the Mono Photo stitch wizard (random stitching) to make an embroidery in a single color of a little boy.  Then see how the Photo Stitch Wizard #2 works with images using four colors and a single color silhouette style embroidery from photo images.

You will learn the following photo embroidery techniques:

  • How to open and resize the photo background image
  • How to remove parts of the photo not needed in the embroidery
  • How to use different masking shapes around your embroidery
  • How to set up the "Stitching Parameters"
  • How to select your finished image in the "Candidates List"
  • How to change the photo from "Photo or Cartoon" settings
  • What to do when your image has "too many stitches" to sew
  • Printing the template and stitch charts
  • How to use the Photo Stitch Mono Digitizer Wizard
  • How to adjust the grayscale image
  • How to set up the contrast/brightnes etc of your images

A fully illustrated step by step color workbook is included with this class. You must enroll and pay for this class 2 days in advance of the date you plan to attend the online class. By ordering this class and workbook before the class date, you can have a "follow along" reference as we progress through the online class.

Some students find it helpful to have the online class on one computer and another computer with the software installed side by side so you can actually follow each step. You will be doing work online with Sue, but having the second computer allows you to do each step independently.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS LISTED BELOW TO SIGN UP FOR YOUR CLASS:

  1. Check the calendar for the date and time you want to take this class.
  2. Pay for the class using the PayPal shopping basket.  You will not be confirmed to take this class until I have received your PayPal submittance.  I will then notify you of your completed enrollment.
  3. Fill in the "Enrollment Form" and submit it to me.
  4. Once you have been enrolled into the class I will email you the password and instructions on how to download the workbook. NOTE: please select your date and time at least two days in advance of the posted date. It takes time to get instructions to everyone and last minute enrollments are difficult to manage.
  5. Approximately two days before the class date, I will email you the information you need to log on and attend the online class.
