This class comes with a fully illustrated, step-by-step color workbook to follow along during your online class!
Our MasterWorks Lite Digitizing Lessons Series will take you through all the features of using the software so you will feel comfortable with digitizing. At the end of the first (FREE) lesson, you will have made at least two designs from a single piece of artwork!
At the end of this class Sue or Karen will explain the differences between MasterWorks Lite and MasterWork II programs.
In The FREE Lesson One, You Will Learn The Following Features:
How to set all the software preferences
How to change the grid size and colors
How to use the Autodigitizing Wizard
How to edit the design made by the Wizard
How to change fills
How to add outlines to segments
How to use a "Standard" fill
How to use the "Fancy" fill
How to use the "Motif" outline
How to change stitch directions
How to move starts/stops
How to use the sewing simulator
How to resize the design
How to "color sort" to reduce thread changes
How to change the sewing order
How to save the design
How to select the hoop size
How to make a "custom" size hoop
How to print the template and thread color sheets
Once you have completed the above form, an email will be sent to you with class confirmation and the password to download the workbook.
This is a "group" session. There may be as many as 10 students enrolled in this session. If you prefer private instruction, click on the link at the right, for "Private Instruction" options.

Download the fully illustrated step by step color workbook for this class. You must enroll for this class 2 days in advance of the date you plan to attend the online class. The information on how to download the workbook and get into the online class will be emailed to you in advance of the class. By ordering this class and workbook before the class date, you can have a "follow along" reference as we progress through the online class.
